The symposium included information about ITEX Cairo, the leading textile digital printing event in Egypt and the Cairo Denim Day competition scheduled in February 2025
In collaboration with Professor Nadia El Sharkawi, Dr Mahmoud Abbas organized an art exhibition for their artworks . Dr Nadia showed her collection themed : The land of Gold : Nubia.
Dr Mahmoud showed his collection denmonstarting the imapct of geometric shapes on our perception.
The exhibition was held along the Forst Pan Arab Allergy& Immunotherapy Summit held at Cairo , Egypt on 31 October , 2024 .

In preparation of the Egy Stitch & Tex Textile Expo, Dr Mahmoud Abbas visited Texhibition Istanbul held in September 2024 at Istanbul Turkey.

Scribe organized two events at Saudi Stitch & Tex (9-11 October, 2023) in Riyadh Saudi Arabia.
This included ITEX Arabia on 9 October , 2023 . ITEX Arabia Program featured the latest innovations in Textile digital printing in fashion sports and furnishing printing. And Saudi Garment Week on 10 and 11 October covering essential knowledge in garment manufacturing and fashion design.
Both events hosted a panel of international faculty who offered lectures and panel discussions over the three days of Saudi Stitch & Tex.

Panel Discussion: How to run a successful Textile Digital Printing Project?
ITEX Design Contest witnessed several contenders who participated in the contest which witnessed innovative designs intended for digital printing on textiles. The contest was part of ITEX CAIRO 2021 conference.
The jury committee held its meeting on 24 March 2021 at the Egyptian Chamber of Textiles to choose the best ten designs.
The contest was organized by Scribe was supported by the Egyptian Chamber of Textiles, Textile Printing Department at Faculty of Applied Arts, Fashion & Design Center, Textile Division of National Research Center, MDT Printing Company and Khoyout Magazine.
As a pre conference course of ITEX CAIRO 2020 ” Innovations in Textiles Digital Printing ” conference, the Introduction to Textiles course featured presentations covering fibers, weaving , knitting , dying , printing and finishing of textiles .
The course was designed to provide participants with an introductory knowledge to the science of textiles and how its is applied in the industry.

After a successful inaugural edition held in 2019
, the second edition of ITEX CAIRO will address several topics covering textile digital printing.
ITEX CAIRO 2020 is scheduled on 8 and 9 February, 2020
The 8th of February will include an introductory course for textiles while the 9th of February will address recent innovations in textile digital printing.
